Here is an easy to make homemade Adana Kebab recipe. One of Turkey’s and worlds most popular kebab recipe. This recipe has been simplified from original recipe. The original Adana Kebab is made with %100 ground lamb. We will be using %50 ground lamb, and %50 ground beef in this recipe.

  1. Combine ground lamb and ground beef in a bowl. Add salt, paprika, flaked red pepper into bowl with ground meat mixture. Mince the red pepper and add it to the bowl. Knead everything in the bowl for 5 minutes. Cover the lid of the bowl and let it sit in the refrigrator for at least an hour
  2. Remove the bowl from the refrigrator and divide the mixture into 10-12 equal balls. Wet your hands and form each meatball into a flat kebab on around steel Adana Kebab skewers or bamboo skewers.
  3. Preheat oven to 220 C (400 F) and place Adana Kebab skewers on the middle rack. Cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
  4. Serve Adana Kebab with rice or bulgur, sliced oninons with sumac seasoning, and pita bread, lavash, naan bread or tortilla bread as seen on the pictures.
